Our trips are designed by us or our partners for children aged 8 and over. Sometimes a trip requires a child to be 10 years old, and we will let you know if that's the case.
We know that 8 year olds have plenty of curiosity and sense of adventure, and that's what we want to foster.
Yes, our trips are for children over 8 years old, accompanied by their parent(s) and/or grandparents. Travel helps teenagers become more aware of the world, builds confidence, and introduces them to how people live differently in different countries.
Yes, of course. We encourage you to travel with your children or grandchildren and we plan trips so that the parents and grandparents enjoy the travel, too.
We plan and work with travel partners who prioritize safety. You, of course, make your decisions about where you want to go. We can plan around destinations you are not comfortable visiting.
If you or your child has significant food allergies, you must speak directly with our travel partner and agree that the trip will work for you. A doctor's statement detailing food allergies is required.
Yes, of course! With so much to see and explore across our 50 states and several territories, our trip list includes US-based travel.
Our focus is global cultural travel experiences. We do not plan theme park travel.
Yes, we can include airfare in our trips. However, if you have points or prefer to book your own airfare you can.
Yes, we can arrange a completely private, custom trip for you and your family. We charge a $1000 per family booking fee to research and arrange private trips.
That depends on your group size, destination, desired travel duration, and even the time of year you plan to travel. For that reason, we want to talk with you to find those answers and provide a pricing range.
No, we do not offer low-budget trips that compromise time with your child, relaxation, or experiencing the destination. We avoid partners who cut corners or provide poor customer service. We don't like dealing with that, and neither do you.
We typically offer trips lasting 7 to 12 days, although we can arrange trips as short as 5 days. We can also go longer if you have the time!
Typically, we don't unless we are planning a private custom trip for you (see above). If we must charge a fee we will tell you up front.
Yes, if you are leaving the continental United States each person traveling must have a valid passport which is valid for 6 months after your return date. Technically, you can visit Hawaii, the US Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico without a passport but we do not recommend it. For Alaska, a passport is required because you will usually also visit Canada.
